Kobe

We headed down to Kobe to catch a major exhibit of early works by Vincent van Gogh.  Got there early and had some time to walk around the neighborhood and visit Kobe's Chinatown before our reserved ticket time.  Many of the works were largely black and white drawings from the Netherlands as well as dark paintings from that period.  We could not take any photos of those though...  The last two rooms featured some of his impressionist works, to include an experiment in pointillism of a restaurant interior and the abstract grass patch shown below.
