On a beautiful Sunday morning we took part in an Ikebana International tour of a private Japanese garden in Waimanalo, delighting in the blooming ti plants, statues, and more, followed by lunch at a member's beach house nearby.  Maluhia is the name of the garden and a Hawaiian word meaning tranquility or serenity...
