The annual fall ikebana exhibit, known as the Tanabata Exhibit, continued at Ikenobo Headquarters Kyoto starting 13 Nov, changing out most arrangements every two days. These are a selection of those arrangements from 13 Nov. Arrangements fall into one of 3 basic styles: jiyuka or free style, rikka and shoka with both of the latter styles having two main variations -- traditional shofutai or modern shimputai. I've tried to label each accordingly...
