On Saturday, Yuki Ikenobo, the 46th headmaster
designate, spoke briefly about the three main styles of
arrangements in the Ikenobo school today, then demonstrated
six arrangements. This was followed by a reishiki-ike
slilent arranging ceremony, in which Kobayahi-sensei,
assisted by Prof. Takenouchi, arranged the special shoka
combination in the Tsuru (crane) and Kame (turtle) bamboo
containers.
