We took the train and ferry to Miyajima for a few days between ikebana classes. Had thought we'd hike up the last peak of Mt. Misen and down the mountain, but the HOT weather and steep slopes made us reconsider and stick to the trails on the lower slopes... Still it was nice seeing the famous "floating" torii gate at various times and day and tide conditions!
