We visited Daikakuji in the Saga
district of northwest Kyoto where we enjoyed the exhibit of
ikebana by the Saga Goryu
school, toured the temples, took a boat ride, and strolled
around the lake and gardens. After a late lunch we
explored
the nearby Godaiyama Sairyoji temple and gardens along with
Houkyoin Garden just up the street.
