Ikenobo Aloha Luncheon

19 March 2023

The Honolulu Chapter of Ikenobo Ikebana held its annual Aloha Luncheon and General Membership meeting at the historic Natsunoya Tea House.  Participants enjoyed an exhibit by each of the currently active teachers or one of their students, followed by a demonstration of the Urasenke school of Tea Ceremony by Hiroko Seno.  Gail Atwater and Kida-sensei were asked to serve as guests for the demonstration.  This was followed by a brief business meeting, and the installation of board members for the next two years.  The Reverend Kumika Soga offered words of Thanksgiving  for the delicious buffet meal and concluded by distributing door prizes and centerpieces.
