Direct Light, Reflected Light, and Shadow
A Brief Visit to Tintern Abbey, October 30, 2007
Tintern Abbey is a famous ruined monastery on the Welsh side of the
River Wye.
I visited last October, on a sunny afternoon, with bright sunlight,
deep shadows, and colors reflected onto colors.
I used a Nikon D40 with three standard lenses - the 12-24 DX, 17-55 DX,
and 70-200 VR.
(Google Earth has a nice view of the ruins
from far overhead - just search for "Tintern Abbey.")
