Landscapes and Lupines, with Aoraki, November 25, 2009

We drove northwest from Oamaru, up the Waitaki River to Lake Pukaki (where we saw Aoraki, the tallest mountain in New Zealand) and Lake Tekapo, and wound up in Timaru. The wild spring lupines were blooming along the rivers.
