The annual fall ikebana exhibit, known as the Tanabata Exhibit, was held at the Takashimaya Department Store in Kyoto starting 11 Nov, changing out most arrangements every two days. This is a compilation of some of the arrangements as seen on 11, 13 and 15 Nov. Arrangements fall into one of 3 basic styles: jiyuka or free style, rikka and shoka with both of the latter styles having two main variations -- traditional shofutai or modern shimputai. I've tried to label each accordingly...
